What are the general requirements to apply?

To apply (or to have any chance for a spending limit), you must: 

Be at least 18 years old (may vary by state)Have a valid SSN or ITIN, phone number, and addressHave a current source of incomeReside in the U.S. (not all offerings are available in all states)Have a valid checking account in good standingProvide employment information (status of employment and employer name) 

Additional requirements and details, such as proof of income, employment information, monthly expenses, may be required depending on the payment program available. 

Do you work with multiple lenders/lessors?

Yes. We have partnered with multiple lenders/lessors to help with application processing and payment solutions.We route your application through a network to find a payment solution for your unique credit profile. 

Are there application fees?

There are no application fees! You are under no obligation until you sign your agreement. Full terms and conditions will be presented to you prior to signature. 

How long does it take to get approved?

Instant decisions are available depending on the product category and/or the payment solution which best matches your credit profile. Some payment options may require additional documentation to verify identity, such as a driver’s license, or income verification, such as bank statements or pay stubs. 

My credit is not great. How good does my credit score need to be to apply?

We partnered with different companies to provide multiple payment options to find a solution that fits both your unique credit profile and the products you need. For any application, credit score paints only part of the picture. Income, time on the job, and various other aspects of credit history may come into play. 

Can I get more than one product?

Yes, you may select any number of different products up to your approved spending limit; however, quantity restrictions may apply to the same products. 

Can I ship to an address not listed on my account (e.g., work, family, friend)?

No. We can only ship your products to the address on the account, except that store pick-up may also be an option. Store pick-up is subject to limited availability based on location and stock and can only be used by the account holder. 

Do you pull my credit score?

Yes, we obtain one or more credit reports from alternative credit agencies. Additionally, we may obtain one or more credit reports from one or more of the major nationwide credit reporting agencies 

Will my FICO score be impacted?

If you do not make your payment(s), this can negatively affect your FICO score. Lease customers will also be negatively affected if they do not return their leased item(s). 

What are the fees?

We know fees can be confusing and we’re committed to a transparent fee structure that makes it easy for you to understand. Late fees may apply if a payment is missed or returned. Please carefully read your agreement before you sign it. 

How can I get help or submit a complaint?

What is the cash price?

The cash price is the invoice amount of the item excluding taxes, shipping and other fees. 

What is the spending limit?

The spending limit is the total cash price of the goods you can select. According to your payment option provider sales tax, shipping, and goods and services may be included. 

When are payments due?

Upon signing your agreement, you may be requested to make a payment before you receive your product(s) or services. Payment schedules will vary and are subject to approval. Flexible payment options (from weekly to monthly) are available. We encourage you to carefully read the terms of the lending/lease agreement you are matched with before accepting any offer. 

Can I return the goods?

If you are approved for a lease, you have the right to return your goods. If you are approved for a loan, you cannot return the goods during the initial loan term unless they are defective. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your agreement.

How does the lease work?

If approved by FlexShopper for your lease, you are agreeing to make scheduled payments which may vary by state. If you rent the goods for at least the initial term and you give us proper notice, make all of your required payments, and return the item in good condition, the lease ends and you have no further obligation to us. The lease continues until you end it early or make all required payments. In NC, the final payment required to purchase the rented goods will be an amount greater than 10% of the cash price. You acquire the goods if you make all required payments or exercise your early purchase option. If approved by another payment provider we encourage you to carefully read the terms of the lease agreement you are matched with before accepting any offer. 

Can I buy the product?

You can buy the item at any time by exercising the early purchase option. Please review the actual terms in your lease agreement if you are approved. You can also acquire the goods by making all required payments set forth in your lease agreement. 

Can I purchase early?

Customers can elect to own the merchandise early. By paying one of the early purchase options available in your lease agreement, you can avoid the additional cost of rental. 

How will my first payment apply to my lease payments?

If approved by FlexShopper the first payment assessed at the beginning of your lease will be applied to your first week payment. Example, if you are assessed for a 1-week payment, this payment will be applied as your first payment and you will have 51 payments remaining on your lease. If approved by another payment provider we encourage you to carefully read the terms of the lease agreement you are matched with before accepting any offer. 

How will my security deposit apply to my lease payments?

If approved by FlexShopper your security deposit may be held, or at your election, applied to your lease or be refunded at the end of your lease. If your lease goes into default, your security deposit may be used towards your past-due balance owed on lease agreement, but you will still owe the remaining balance on your lease. If approved by another payment provider we encourage you to carefully read the terms of the agreement you are matched with before accepting any offer.

What is required in order to receive a loan?

If you receive an offer from a credit union lender, you will be required to become a member of the credit union. Please see your loan agreement for terms and conditions regarding membership requirements. 

Is a down payment required for a loan?

Upon signing your agreement you may be required to make a payment before you receive your product(s). We encourage you to carefully read the terms of the loan agreement you are matched with before accepting any offer.
